Meet your bracelet makers…
MALAYA DAVID, 10 years old of Berkeley CA
“Its not fair that the children lost their schools because of the typhoon and that they have no source for education, books and food so I want to help rebuild their school because its one of the most important things in life.” When she’s not making bracelets she’s playing basketball, doing gymnastics and listing to music. “I LOOOOOOVE BRUNO MARS!”
TALA DAVID, 13 years old of Berkeley CA
“I wanted to help the kids in the Philippines because they didn’t deserve all the disaster that struck their lives at this young age. And they deserve at the very least the basic necessities in life like food, home and an education like what we have.” When Tala’s not making bracelets, she’s playing basketball, doing homework or sleeping!
KYMORA SALANOA, 11 years old of Long Beach CA
“I felt like helping because I was sad that the kids in the Philippines lost so much. Making bracelets is the least I could do.” When she’s not making Haiyan bracelets, she’s watching movies, eating, hanging with the family and she is a soccer All-Star!
MIKAILA DEVERA, 13 years old of Vallejo CA
